I tried the new $return variable for return probe on ppc64, and found that it
does not work.
#stap -vv -e 'probe kernel.function("sys_read").return{ bytes=$return;
printf("%d\n", bytes)}'
[....]
Pass 4: compiled C into "stap_7909.ko" in 2680usr/180sys/2740real ms.
Pass 5: starting run.
Running sudo /root/stap_testing_200607101607/install/libexec/systemtap/stpd -r
-u root -d 7909 /tmp/stapWtzxoc/stap_7909.ko
ERROR: pointer dereference fault near identifier 'bytes' at <input>:1:43

Pass 5: run completed in 10usr/30sys/39real ms.
Running rm -rf /tmp/stapWtzxoc
