Debian: kernel-debuginfo?

- Subject: Debian: kernel-debuginfo?
I am attempting to install SystemTap on Debian Sarge on a cluster to
measure various performance attributes when running programs under
MPI. I have built and installed elfultils-0.120 and systemtap from CVS
circa a few days ago.
It appears that my problem is not having kernel-debuginfo RPM
installed as discussed in the directions. (Of course I can't install
such a low-level RPM in Debian and expect it to work.) What does the
kernel-debuginfo RPM contain? Given that information, I should be able
to create the equivalent under Debian.
PS: There are quite a few reasons why installing RH is not a practical
option for me. Thus I need to figure out how to get Debian working.
