Re: aarch64 stat

Dear Mr. Shawcroft,

I know you are probably only interested in ARM, but could you look at
my other message concerning x86-64? (Fwd: cannot compile with newlib
on x86_64)
I am more concerned about x86_64 newlib up and running asap.

I am confused as to why it does not have a crt0.o (the file that
libgloss probduces when I cross-compiled for aarch64) that I would
link in (to replace the traditional start files). I already tried
building it from the newlib folder with no success but looking on the
maillist it seems newlib only builds when you are cross compiling. So
therefore I built newlib and libgloss separately using their makefiles
but cannot get a hello_world.c to compile as it is missing the start
files...

Is there any place I can go for a tutorial or help (other than the
README files already included which I have read for clues.)

Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,

K Jelesnianski
