- Subject: question on libc/sys/linux/stdlib
Hi,
I am porting some code from Linux to RTEMS and
noticed that the code in libc/sys/linux/stdlib
includes fnmatch and regexp and the implementations
appear to be licensed properly for use by other
newlib targets (e.g. not GPL or LGPL).
Is there any reason the code in this directory
couldn't be moved to a higher place in the tree
and used on all targets? Or at least those that
want it like the posix directory?
