- Subject: Some problems about porting newlib ...
Hi, all.
I had some problems about porting newlib.
I am trying to port newlib to a SNDS100 ( arm 7 cpu ) target board, and
there is a simple OS ( modified from vLinux - we use its hardware
initialization and char driver ) running on it.
My plan is to run a mp3 decoder on the board, and the mp3 decoder needs
standard C library support.
In fact, vLinux itself contains some part of standard C library functions,
but it is not enough for my case,
that's why I am trying to port newlib.
How do I successfully port newlib to this environmnet ?
I had read this - http://billgatliff.com/articles/newlib/newlib.pdf , it is
really informative.
But I am not sure whether it can be applied to my case ?
Does anyone who can give me hints or about the details which I should
consider?
