Thanks for your advice. It has certainly cleared a few things up and I
ought to be able to start doing something about it soon.
However, I do have one question about the crt0.S file.
When we were using GCC 2.95.[23] the crt0.S file certainly was used, but
then in GCC 3.0 (and snapshots for a long time now) it was still present
but completely ignored. GCC uses crt[1ni].asm from the gcc/config/sh
directory instead. Do I have to put the crt0.S stuff in gcc instead or
does it still belong in newlib/libgloss?
