Hello,
I got libffi-3.0.9rc4.tar.gz and I tried to compile it but unfortunately the complete support for mingw+msys and cygwin seems to be still missing.
In date 8 Nov 2009 I sent an email with a little fix for completing the support for Windows platforms:

I'm available for helping and change/re-test this patch if it was not good in some points.
I hope to see my build tools supported in your new upcoming version.
