integrating libfreevec for ppc32 into libc-ports

Hi,

I've just released libfreevec 1.0.3[1][2] as it seems stable enough
(have been using it with LD_PRELOAD and linked many applications with
it, incl. X.org with no problems whatsoever) and I think it's time to
consider merging it with glibc/glibc-ports.

I have known about Steve Munroe's powerpc-cpu addon but that was quite
some time ago, I think it has been merged into glibc-ports now
(right?)

My question is, could someone give me some pointer about what to do to
merge these functions with glibc-port (is there time for 2.8 yet?)
I know there would be some things to be done with the licenses, but
I'll worry abou these when the technical issues have been resolved.

Thanks
