Bug ID: 18953
Summary: Lithuania joined the Euro zone (on 1st of Jan 2015)
Product: glibc
Version: unspecified
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: localedata
Assignee: unassigned at sourceware dot org
Reporter: marius at gedmin dot as
CC: libc-locales at sourceware dot org
Target Milestone: ---
Lithuania switched currency to the Euro on 1st Jan 2015. The lt_LT locale ought
to be updated accordingly.
The situation is very similar to that of lv_LV (bug #16374): the legacy
ISO-8859-13 charset doesn't have the Euro, and ISO-8859-15 lacks some of the
characters necessary to represent Lithuanian (ÄÄÄÄÄÅÅÅÅ/ÄÄÄÄÄÅÅÅÅ).
