getlogin returns address out of bounds

Hello,

I have just reported an ubuntu bug
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/perl/+bug/659115

Initially I thought this had to do with perl but it turns out getlogin
is returning an address out of bounds. My glibc version is
2.12.1-0ubuntu7.

Compiling
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/perl/+bug/659115/+attachment/1690525/+files/screen.i

and running in my computer causes getlogin to return an address out of
bounds, which when dereferences segfaults.

Is anyone aware of this? If not, let me know what info you could use to
get to the bottom of this issue.

Cheers,
