Thank you for your response.

Can anyone provide me with a additional details:
I am not sure if anyone is eager to dish out a fix for GLIBC 2.9 (if
so let me know), so  I can fix my Alpha code. Anyone have any ideas on
what I should do to try to fix the problem my self?
