Hi, Ulrich,
The last glibc 2.0 tar file is not compatible with egcs. But
it has been fixed in CVS long time ago. I'd like to see glibc
2.0.8 to address this problem. We can just tar whatever on the
glibc 2.0 branch in CVS and call it glibc 2.0.8. We should
not use 2.0.7 since it has been widely used for the beta
releae of glibc 2.0.7 and it is not beta any more. If you
don't have the time to work on it, I am willing to spend my time
to create the glibc 2.0.8 tar file from CVS and to put it on
ftp.gnu.org.
