PowerPC - Thoughts for GLIBC 2.18

Hi All,
The glibc 2.18 feature freeze is coming up soon and I'm headed out on
vacation, so I wanted to make sure I was able to put in my thoughts on
what I'd like to have in the release from a Power Architecture
perspective.
The following list is what I wanted to have into glibc 2.18. I've
updated the http://sourceware.org/glibc/wiki/Release/2.18 wiki page

- This has been tested on an upstream glibc 3.10 kernel with Power8
hardware to verify the hwcap2 bits show up correctly.

- Contentious and I don't think we'll have time for this discussion
in glibc 2.18
The one thing that isn't on here is an ABI and API proposal for Power
Architecture Event-Based Branching facility. Adhemerval is going to
send an RFC on that topic in a few days.
Adhemerval, please add to this if I've forgotten anything.
Steve Munroe and Adhemerval will cover PowerPC issues in further
discussions while I'm out (returning the 29th).
