This is more or less how the support should look like. It makes no
sense to add it to glibc. Using the /proc file directly isn't realistic.
Instead, you have dedicated code like NetworkManager which monitor all
kinds of network related data. NetworkManager also creates/updates
/etc/resolv.conf. Through this change nscd will learn about the new
name server and will use them appropriately and possibly remove cached
information.
