There is no justification for this. Every other port gets by without
this. It's just another component of the clueless MIPS ABI which just
has the effect to make it unnecessarily different. The goal is to have
a unified user interface accross all archs. There is no place for
LD_LIBRARY64_PATH and similar garbage.
