Results with glibc-2.2.92

Yet another make check success for i686.

I used the same options

--prefix=/usr --without-cvs
--with-headers=/usr/local/src/linux/include --disable-profile
--enable-add-ons=linuxthreads --enable-kernel=2.4.5

from my installed library (CVS tag glibc-2_2_5), which was
compiled with GCC 2.95.4 CVS + Jakub's patch, the same
2.13.90.0.4 binutils, and 2.4.19 kernel headers.

2.2.92 was compiled with GCC 3.2.

Is the size expected ?

libc.so 11023486
libc-2.2.5.so	5000557

I'll have to use 2.2.5 for my ramdisks. strip won't help
anymore.

BTW, I noticed someone compiled with --disable-nls. What does
it do, if applicable ? Just disable compilation and
installation of the potfiles ? Or would it break anything with
--enable-nls ?
