Hi all,
Michael send us the appended report requesting some features for
utmpd. He has included a patch which just needs a small change.
Should this be added to glibc? Anybody willing to finish the patch?
Personally I think we should drop utmpd. I wrote the utmp deamon to
ease the transition from libc5 to glibc. Most people will have done
so by now or at least upgraded all programs that access /var/run/utmp.
