soliciting resumes for web/database development using Scheme/BRL

I've had the privilege the past six years of using Scheme in my
employment. Equity analysts use an application written mostly by me in
BRL / Kawa Scheme for a wide variety of stock-monitoring activities.

Every few years management needs re-enlightenment about the advantages
of using a language that is not widely used in industry. Now is one of
those times. There is desire to add more programmers the project, and
despite eagerness of a couple of coworkers to get up to speed on BRL,
there is a management perception that we would not be able to find
resources.

To combat this perception I'm soliciting resumes of people who could do
this job. You need:

1. SQL knowledge. We use Microsoft SQL. Oracle and PostgreSQL are
similar. I started this job only knowing Oracle.

2. HTML knowledge: tables, forms, etc.

3. Basic Scheme knowledge (cons, car, cdr, apply, etc.)

4. Decent math knowledge, i.e. high school algebra and very basic
statistics.

Send me your resume if you're qualified, even if you aren't seeking a
job now. The presence of qualified people is what I'm mainly looking
for. Do also indicate if you would be interested in such a job, as we
will likely hire in the not-too-distant future. If I'm successful this
job will include continued development using BRL. There will be at
least one full-time salaried position.

Feel free to forward this message to whomever you deem it appropriate.
