Where's the BSF engine? I cannot find it in the 1.6.99 sources.
It has not made it into Kawa itself (yet).
You can get the file here:
http://sources.redhat.com/ml/kawa/2001/msg00182.html
And for those using Coccoon, a note on how to add support for Kawa & BSF:
http://xml.apache.org/cocoon/apidocs/org/apache/cocoon/generation/ScriptGenerator.html
It would be a great thing to test KawaEngine and submit it for addition
to BSF's set of supported languages. While it appears that BSF (being
Apache) doesn't provide direct support for (L)GPL languages, it should
be possible as KawaEngine.java is not itself GPL AFAIK. And it is worth
noting that Avalon uses the gnu.bytecode package, so they've made
precedent for using Kawa with Jakarta code.
