I think having a label type does make sense. At some point in the
the future we are going to run into a problem that will require us
to add controls (enable/disable) to the custom types.

I was going to use it to place the search box in the toolbar (until
I get a chance to move it into it's own dialog box). But I would
imagine it would be useful at other times as well.
