if I understand Mikael correctly, the point here is that "the idea of
environment" can be (and the implementation is) divided into two
ideas: top-level environments and lexical (closure) environments.
R5RS uses the term "environment" for the former, so I guess the latter
should be called differently. "lexical environment" is fine, I think.
overriding R*RS on terminology whould not be PC.
Don't trust these UNIX people. They are all demons. They kill their
parents and fork children. I don't know how they could do this with
their balls cut off but they manage. --anonymous
