I've put the latest code at

A few bugs have been fixed in environments.c and boot-9.scm
Unfortunately the following modules rely on the old module variables
interface and have to be re-written completely:
; (ice-9 syncase) problem: symbol properties
; (ice-9 emacs) problem: modules
; (ice-9 ls) problem: modules
; (ice-9 session) problem: modules
Could you take a look at is?
