I've committed Gary Houston's port patches to CVS, along with the
faster read-line routine I mentioned before, as well as some really
primitive support for line buffering, so stdout doesn't look lame.
Give it a beating, and let me know about any problems you find.
The guile-benchmarks and guile-test-suite modules are also updated.
