Mac OS X can probably be added to the officially supported list. Due to
some problems with dynamic linking, you need to: ./configure
--disable-shared
But, this is an issue with OS X, in general, and not peculiar to GSL.
There 2 failures with "make check", but it appears to be the tolerances;
see below.
