commit 2194737e77256a847ed4fca7652e4dcb8d3f9c1e
Author: H.J. Lu <hjl.tools@gmail.com>
Date:   Tue Aug 25 08:51:09 2015 -0700

    Replace %xmm[8-12] with %xmm[0-4]

    Since ld.so preserves vector registers now, we can use %xmm[0-4] to
    avoid the REX prefix.

    	* sysdeps/x86_64/strlen.S: Replace %xmm[8-12] with %xmm[0-4].

commit 2339c6f4bd71b1e4dfcb2a05a9200cd68d3d8837
Author: H.J. Lu <hjl.tools@gmail.com>
Date:   Tue Aug 25 08:49:50 2015 -0700

    Remove x86-64 rtld-xxx.c and rtld-xxx.S

    Since ld.so preserves vector registers now, we can use the regular,
    non-ifunc string and memory functions in ld.so.

- carry from its most significant bit, the LSB of the

-
- 2) Is this worthwhile? Will it ignore everything except
- zero bytes? Suppose every byte of QUARDWORD has a bit set
- somewhere. There will be a carry into bit 8.	If bit 8
- is set, this will carry into bit 16. If bit 8 is clear,
- one of bits 9-15 must be set, so there will be a carry
- into bit 16. Similarly, there will be a carry into bit
- 24 tec.. If one of bits 54-63 is set, there will be a carry
- into bit 64 (=carry flag), so all of the hole bits will
-	 be changed.
-
- 3) But wait! Aren't we looking for C, not zero?
- Good point. So what we do is XOR LONGWORD with a longword,
- each of whose bytes is C. This turns each byte that is C

commit 5f92ec52e795dc004f8e8d17317e4572695ded15
Author: H.J. Lu <hjl.tools@gmail.com>
Date:   Tue Aug 25 08:48:21 2015 -0700

    Replace %xmm8 with %xmm0

    Since ld.so preserves vector registers now, we can use %xmm0 to avoid
    the REX prefix.

    	* sysdeps/x86_64/memset.S: Replace %xmm8 with %xmm0.
