Bug ID: 19737
Summary: Doc page â20.5.2 Infinity and NaNâ has incorrect HTML
character entities for infinity & pi
Product: glibc
Version: unspecified
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: admin
Assignee: unassigned at sourceware dot org
Reporter: sourceware.org at slippyd dot com
CC: carlos at redhat dot com, roland at gnu dot org
Target Milestone: ---
The HTML documentation page â20.5.2 Infinity and NaNâ
(http://www.gnu.org/software/libc/manual/html_node/Infinity-and-NaN.html) has
incorrectly double-escaped HTML character entities for infinity & pi symbols.
The infinity entity code being used is â∞â when it should be just
â∞â, and the pi entity code being used is â@amp;pi;â when it should be
just âπâ.ÂÂThe result is that currently the rendered HTML shows â@infin;â
and âπâ instead of âââ and âÏâ.
