This configure test was removed by:
commit a8779c28a8172b6573c9dd1724540e679c77168c
Author: Joseph Myers <joseph@codesourcery.com>

Remove configure tests for assembler CFI support.
So, if this was a bug it was fixed in glibc 2.20 at the latest.
