- Reply-to: sourceware-bugzilla at sources dot redhat dot com
>From RFC 3484 section 2:
"This specification optionally allows for the possibility of
administrative configuration of policy that can override the default
behavior of the algorithms. The policy override takes the form of a
configurable table that specifies precedence values and preferred
source prefixes for destination prefixes. "
Right now, getaddrinfo is not configurable. The default policy table has to be
used. It would be great if this could be configured to allow for strange
network configurations such as giving preference to a particular host for a set
of non-sequential class C subnets.
