This is a distro bug.
glibc expects <asm/*> headers to be the appropriate kernel headers for the
current architecture. I.e. if you compile with -m32, you should get asm-sparc
headers, if you compile with -m64, you should get asm-sparc64 headers.
This is nothing sparc specific btw, the same assumption is used on x86_64, s390*
or ppc*.
