debugging modules with kdbg

hi ,
i atlast succeeded in my attempt in debugging a remote program running
on a ARM m/c..thank god it had a gdbserver builtin...i dunno how to use
that for those m/cs without built in gdb....
i have a modem source code and i want to trace its execution in source
level..heard that kgdb works well with tow m/cs connected thru serial
port?.i tried to download the patch for kgdb for RH9.0 but that contains
some source code..i dunno how to patch with that...i didn find any site
that gives complete config steps and the commands for stepping in and out
of source codes in modules....gimme some useful links/tips in this regard
for debugging a module in source level..
thanx in advance
regards
sudhar
