Did anyone happen to have a look at this? Assuming the analysis is
correct then it is a regression in 5.0 :-(

I can not use the command
gdb -batch -n -q prog_name -x -
using gdb.5.0 ! What is now the correct syntax ?
This command works with the old gdb 4.18 !
