I've got the same problem on openSUSE 42.3 with gdb-8.0.1 and Eclipse CDT
(Version: Oxygen.2 Release (4.7.2), Build id: 20171218-0600). Adding "disable
pretty-printer" into ~/.gdbinit (or manually issuing it immediately after
attaching to debuggee) eliminates the issue.
