Bug ID: 20669
Summary: name lookup failure with firefox
Product: gdb
Version: HEAD
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: c++
Assignee: unassigned at sourceware dot org
Reporter: tromey at sourceware dot org
Target Milestone: ---
I'm afraid I don't have a simple test case for this.
I built a recent firefox with debugging enabled.
Trying to print this symbol fails:
(gdb) p
&xpc::FilteringWrapper<js::SecurityWrapper<js::CrossCompartmentWrapper>,
xpc::Opaque>::singleton
No type "FilteringWrapper<js::SecurityWrapper<js::CrossCompartmentWrapper>,
xpc::Opaque>" within class or namespace "xpc".
However, if I wrap the symbol name in single quotes, it does work:
(gdb) p
&'xpc::FilteringWrapper<js::SecurityWrapper<js::CrossCompartmentWrapper>,
xpc::Opaque>::singleton'
$3 = (const
xpc::FilteringWrapper<js::SecurityWrapper<js::CrossCompartmentWrapper>,
xpc::Opaque> *) 0xa613078
<xpc::FilteringWrapper<js::SecurityWrapper<js::CrossCompartmentWrapper>,
xpc::Opaque>::singleton>
I think these two commands should be equivalent.
