Since Buildroot is used by lots of companies using "enterprise" (cough, cough)
distros, we do test building on older systems. For this reason, one of my build
environment is an old Debian 6.0, which uses gcc 4.4 as its compiler.

It generally builds fine most recent software, at least the ones that we need
on the host when cross-compiling. So it would be nice if gdb would also build
fine with gcc 4.4.
