[Bug cli/16862] New: C-s is not working

https://sourceware.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=16862

            Bug ID: 16862
           Summary: C-s is not working
           Product: gdb
           Version: 7.5
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: cli
Assignee: unassigned at sourceware dot org
Reporter: Bjoern at Kautler dot net

https://sourceware.org/gdb/current/onlinedocs/gdb/Searching.html#Searching
mentions C-r and C-s. While C-r works fine, I cannot seem to get C-s to work,
neither can others I asked to try at IRC in #gdb like keiths. Pressing C-s
simply does nothing. Neither when scrolled through command history by up arrow
or C-p or while searching the history by C-r which is really a PITA, because if
you pressed C-r one time too much too fast, you cannot easily go back what C-s
is supposed to do actually
