I don't think there is a problem here.
An error re-setting a breakpoint in this situation is normal.
GDB will try to re-set the breakpoint any time the inferior
loads a library; so if the "foo" function eventually appears,
the breakpoint will be set.
I don't believe that GDB will write breakpoint instructions
randomly to memory. If re-setting fails, the breakpoint will
not be inserted.
So, I am marking this as fixed. If you still have a problem,
