Hello,
I can't say when was this particular issue addressed.
But, I can say, that: I knwo that at least gdb 6.7 builds on sparc solaris 2.8
and 2.9 correctly. I believe gdb 6.8 will need to be built with
--disable-werror. Current mainline builds OK on x86 OpenSolaris 10.
Let us know if you have further issues with current versions.
