info registers does not decompose the individual flags in EFLAGS on x86 or x86_64. There was a patch posted to the list in 2002 - http://sources.redhat.com/ml/gdb-patches/2002-08/msg00913.html - and in that thread it was mentioned that someone else had submitted a patch even earlier, but 2 years later, gdb 6.3 still didn't display individual flags. And now in 2006, gdb 6.3 is still the latest release.
Can't some patch be applied? It doesn't seem like a difficult problem.
