I was looking at the IA64 GDB defect list to get an idea of how well GDB
works on IA64 Linux and I started with defect 1256. I can't reproduce
it on my redhat linux system with GCC 3.2.3 and GDB
5.3.90-0.20030710.40rh or with the GDB 6.0 that I built. Can you tell
me if you think this defect still exists or do you think this bug can be
resolved as fixed?
