Hi,
This PR has been in feedback for 30 days, so I am closing it.
The PR was with gcc 3.0.3, c++, unix tru64 v5.1a. gcc 3.0.x had a lot of problems with c++. If you can reproduce the problem with gcc 3.2.3 or gcc 3.3.1 then you are welcome to file another PR.
