User already reported this fixed on 2001-11-19.
I also tested this with current gdb's:
gdb 5.2.1 is okay
gdb 5.3 is okay
gdb gdb_6_0-branch 2003-08-27 is okay
gdb HEAD 2003-08-27 is okay
This one is fixed.
