Hello Petter,
The CVS repository for gdb has darwin support in bfd/config.bfd.
Please try a recent snapshot, such as:
ftp://sources.redhat.com/pub/gdb/snapshots/current/gdb+dejagnu-weekly-CVS-20021203.tar.bz2
The 5.2.91 snapshot (soon to be 5.3) does not have darwin support
in bfd/config.bfd.
