struct bfd vs. struct _bfd

Hey all,
What's the status of this ancient controvercy? I notice that
sim/sh64/sim-if.c still uses struct _bfd in declaring sim_open,
where everyeone else has gone to the underscore-less form.
AFAICT, it will not compile as is.
