Thanks for giving AHTTPD a spin.
I tried to apply your patch, but was not successful. I am not an expert in diff/patch but it looks like all the original indentations in the files you patched are gone, and without indentation the patch utility will never be able to compare side by side two files and find any match.
You could override the problem, but that would force the package to be patched with code that is not indented and thus inconsistent with the existing source, and that is not acceptable either.
I am not sure where the snafu happened, but a good starting point is to try to resubmit the patch with an indentation consistent to the existing one, and attach it to your e-mail as opposed to cutting and pasting it onto it.
Typically, the best way to solve this is to send patches as attachments to the email (or directly to bugzilla). This avoids the reformatting problems that Anthony is experiencing.
