I would certainly appreciate it. 

I plan to support most of the functionality available 
on-board and on the two 34 pin header. Hopefully
one day my mainboards will be able to make use 
of it.

I have a port for the header board here. It supports the external SRAM,
Flash and SPI of the board. (As well as the standard like watchdog and
serial interface.)
So - if you want this HAL I can send it to you.
