Very few devices work at this level. Ethernet switches are about the
only exception, and for such devices the older OpenBSD stack
implements bridging. eCos has a fully functioning TCP/IP
implementation which is what nearly all embedded systems want when
doing networking.

In addition, it's hardly the fault of eCos or the folks on this list that have spent untold hours supporting YOU [Antoine], that you waited until three scant days before your thesis was due to even ask about such capabilities.
