Re: [eCos]Number of clock ticks required by scheduler

Hi,
Thanks for the prompt response.
In order to run tm_basic, is the option of going
through the Configuration Tool, the only one?
Because, when I used that with the help of the
"nios2configtool", first of all it says that it does
not recognize the Nios II Development board, and asks
if I would like to include it, I said 'Yes'. But I
have not entered anything in the "Arguments for GDB",
"Inferior" and "Prompt" tabs. It automatically takes
the "nios2-elf" as the command prefix. Then I say "OK"
and proceed to the usual steps of building and running
the tests through the Configuration Tool. It does the
building part correctly, with no errors, however,
while running, in the output tab, it says that it
could not find the file specified, whereas I have
selected the tm_basic file from the location where I
have the built test files.
Also, does the connection to the development board
have to be a serial one or TCP/IP only? Because I have
it connected through a ByteBlaster II download cable.
I am not sure where the problem is.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Smita Potdar
