Could rules.mak inherit of ecos.mak rules ?

Subject: [ECOS] Could rules.mak inherit of ecos.mak rules ?

The problem is that there are some old rules that are not overwritten (for
example -fvtable). So when i compile the examples with my brand new compiler, i
get errors.

So i would like to get the same rules used to build eCos packages (generated by
ecos.mak) in my xxx_install/include/pkgconf/rules.mak.

Is it a good idea ? Or should i find an other way to do it ?
