I hope you aren't building in your source repository!!  You should
always use a separate directory for building.  e.g.

% export ECOS_REPOSITORY=/sources/ecos/packages
% mkdir /work/ecos_build
% cd /work/ecos_build
% ecosconfig new rattler redboot
...
