Re: x86 System Boot & FAT32 Disk system
This System is designed for an x86 PC based system.
System Boot:
1) You format the hard drive with FAT32
2) Boot from floppy or USB
3) Run Program to install the system boot loader on Hard Disk
3) Install eCOS Kernel in boot directory
4) Reboot and boot eCOS kernel from Hard Disk
FAT32 Hard Disk System:
1) Choose DMA or PIO Mode
2) Mount Hard Disk File system
3) Create Directories
4) Read/Write Files on Hard Disk (FAT32)

If anyone is interested I have a x86 system that boots from harddisk and
run eCOS.
1) Boot installer, installs boot system on harddisk (FAT32)
2) FAT32 disk system, uses PIO and DMA modes to read/write disk
I would be interested in hearing more.
